  • Better performance for hundreds of accounts

We're busy working on migrating all old user accounts to the new site, and expect this process to start before the end of the week.

In the meantime, today we've released a series of updates that should vastly improve the performance of charts for users with hundreds of accounts in their portfolio, and generally improved the performance of the site.

  • Logarithmic scales and zero axes on charts

    Jevon Wright · 0 · Posted

Today we have released an update giving you more options for laying out your portfolio charts.

For most charts, you can now select to display the vertical axis with a logarithmic scale, rather than the default linear scale.

You can also now configure charts to always display zero on the vertical axis. By default, the vertical axis dynamically changes its range based on the data shown in the chart.

To try these new options out, select any of your charts and use the Edit menu. Thanks to YCNZ for this feature suggestion!

  • Transaction types and balance reports

    Jevon Wright · 0 · Posted

This week we have been making further progress on our upcoming tax reporting tools.

You can now categorise transactions to one of three transaction types: transfer, sale, and purchase. Both our API workers and CSV imports will try to work out the transaction types for your transactions automatically, but you can change the transaction type for any transaction manually:

Transactions now also have a new Comment field, which is available for you to use to store any sort of information about the transaction – for example, what the transaction was for, who the other party was, and/or any other information

  • Add transactions to fixed amounts, create custom accounts

Today we have released the ability to add historical transactions to fixed amounts, both by importing transactions through CSV, and by adding them manually.

This also means that you can used fixed amounts to add any account or exchange, even if the exchange is not directly supported by CryptFolio. Just create a new Fixed Amount with empty balances:

Then, by visiting the View Transactions page for that account, import the transactions for that account, in one of our supported CSV formats:

The balances for the account will be updated with the transactions, and the account will appear and operate just
